Daddy's Day

On Father's Day, Dale and I got up early to make breakfast for Daddy.  As you can see, Dale was very helpful.  He suggested we definitely incorporate peanut butter somewhere.  He was a very good egg cracker, and he even whisked our eggs for us.  He could not, however, wait until breakfast was ready before eating it.

Dale likes peanut butter on his toast.

Once Daddy was up, we ate breakfast and gave him his banner.  Both Rose and Dale showed Daddy what they drew with so much pride.

Then we gave Daddy his new socks.  We love our socks around here.

Once we were dressed, everyone wanted to try on Mommy's shoes.  Except Daddy.

Then in honor of our wonderful Daddy, we went to the driving range to try out Dale's new golf club.  Dale was so adorable.  Like really really really cute.

Oh my goodness this boy is cute!

Dale was pretty good at hitting the golf ball, and he was very patient with it too.  He took the time to carefully set up his shot, and he even paused to watch Daddy swing a few times too.  Dale is becoming a very big boy.

Rose and I watched closely while enjoying treats and being cute.  It was super duper hot outside, so Rose needed lots of distractions.  Fruit snacks and juice did the trick.

Hello there, kissy lips.

Big brother is looking cool.

Father and son.

Back at home, Rose was happy to be free of her stroller and have fun with buckets.

Dale got this brilliant idea.

And then Rose wanted to try too.

Father's Day was a success!  We love you, Daddy.
