My Little Punkins

Way up in the northeast corner of Kansas is Renyer's Pumpkin Farm, the Rice family's new favorite fall hangout.  It was a bit of a haul to get there, but since we love us some backroads, we didn't mind the pretty drive with winding roads through small Kansas towns.

There was a chill in the air that day, so we had to get all bundled up.  Oh how I love my cute bundled babies!

There was so much to do at Renyer's.  Rose got cold though and tried to drive away in a combine.

Well hello perfect children, who were not at all bribed with lollipops for this picture.

We spent hours at the pumpkin farm playing before we remembered we were there to pick out pumpkins.  Rose picked out her gourd, which became her microphone for the entire month of October and part of November as well.

Happy fall to all!

  1. That swing that Dale is on is AWESOME! And I can totally see Rose singing into the gourd!

  2. I guess Rose didn't want to have her picture with Mommy. But it did look like a great day. The three pumpkin heads were awesome. Mark sure was 'expressive' in all the photos.
