Things We Do

We do a lot of coloring, stickering, drawing, painting and such at home.  Sometimes it's about keeping little hands and minds busy, and sometimes it's about learning new skills.  Dale has started working out of a prewriting book, where he is learning how to draw lines and connect dots.  He loves it and calls it "school time."   

Rose loves "cuhwering," and she's quite good at it.  On this day, she really wanted to wear her swimsuit.  So I let her.

Swimsuit, yes.  Hair barrette, no.

Dale and Rose are really into building forts and cages.  In particular, Dale likes to "trap" Rose in his cages, and for some reason she allows it.

We also often play "sleeping," but that is mostly so that we can scream each other awake.

No matter what we do, we are guaranteed to trash the place.
