Digging With Wasps

What?  There are clouds in the sky?  HURRY!  Everyone outside to play!

Dale insisted we buy wheat thins after finding out Matthew likes them.

Snow White picked out her outfit that morning.  The costume finally fits her perfectly, so why not?

Dale and Rose have learned to play quite nicely together most of the time.  It's really fun to watch them interact with each other.  They are so polite and loving.

Look closely in the middle of this photo.  See it?

Here's a closer look at the UFO.  It's a Cicada Killer!  These little wasps have become a familiar sight in our backyard the past few years.  Naturally they scared me a bit last summer with all their swooshing around my face, so I researched them only to find that they are quite harmless.  They do just what their name says;  They kill Cicadas and carry them to their underground burrows to eat.

Nice try, little dude, but you don't scare me.

Snow White made sure to get as much dirt as possible on her dress.  Her big brother helped her with that as well.

Before we headed back indoors to the beloved A/C, Rose got to do one of her favorite things in the world.
