Happy Day

January 28, 2013

At the end of January we found ourselves chasing a glorious sun and running to the park to soak in its rays.

Rose delighted in the swing and made me push her for a long time, while she giggled and smiled widely.

Both children ran all over the park, playing as fast and hard as they could.

Dale worked to build a campfire, and Rose worked to dismantle it.

Before we left the park, Rose begged for more swinging.

What would you do?

A Red Hat and a Campfire

Sitting around the house one morning, we got a brilliant idea:  Let's go look for bald eagles at the park!  And off we went.
Dale needed to run, which was great, because it was darn chilly that day.  Up the stairs and down the slide.  Up the stairs and down the slide.  Over and over and over again, Dale ran with glee around the playground equipment.

Rose tried to keep up with Dale and then spent a little time giggling with Daddy.

Oh my!  Look at this handsome man!

Before we left, Dale made a campfire for us all to enjoy.

And yes, we did see a bald eagle.
