Desperate for holiday adventures, I searched the web and discovered that Manhattan holds the Parade of Lights every year right before the lighting of the Mayor's Christmas tree. The parade was short and simple, and it was perfect for my two adorable bundled babes.

Dale loved the parade. And the candy, I had forgotten about parade candy!
Rose sat in shock, quietly eating her smarties.

Once the parade was over, we walked inside the mall to sneak a peek at Santa. The Manhattan Town Center does a magnificent job with holiday decorations. The trees are huge, the lights are everywhere, and Santa was as jolly as could be. It was a magical evening.
Why is Rose unhappy while Mark is holding her? And why is he smiling?
